Peter Wooding

Peter Wooding has travelled the world for 26 years as a broadcast journalist reporting on the Persecuted Church and global ministry efforts. He worked as a sub-editor for the Chester Chronicle in 1996 and became news editor for UCB Radio in 1997, where he continues to work part-time.

Peter also works for the Global News Alliance; is a media consultant for Help The Persecuted; and is the UK Director for Mercy Projects. He grew up in Surrey where he lived until his family moved to California in 1982. He returned to the UK in 1990 to serve as a missionary with YWAM in Birmingham.

Peter is also a part of Assist News Service, started by his father, Dan Wooding.

Peter and his wife Sharon moved to North Wales in 1994. They have three daughters and are members of !Audacious Church in Chester.
