Overview

ASSIST News Service (ANS) seeks to cover news from around the world from a Christian perspective, offering insight, commentary, and relevant information on a host of contemporary and important issues affecting the world, Christians, and the church. The ANS team of writers also provide stories regarding the involvement of believers in all aspects of society.

ANS was founded by the late Dan Wooding to inform, educate, inspire, by publicising stories about what God is doing in today’s culture. It is now led by Dan’s son, Peter Wooding who is passionate about the Gospel and serves as a media missionary.
ANS is a voice for the persecuted church and mobilises Christian believers to pray and intervene on their behalf. Dan was a former tabloid journalist in London, who made it his life’s purpose to be a voice for the persecuted church. Peter has served as a YWAM missionary and has traveled the world as a journalist reporting on the persecuted church and global ministry efforts.
