Step FWD Awards

The Step FWD Awards honours CCM across the British Isles via the UK Christian Charts and an annual ceremony recognising top artists/musicians. It was founded by O’ Neil Dennis in 2008.

The Step FWD Awards has run the UK Christian Charts for eight years and since 2020 has operated with a 12 category chart system, bringing together genres and styles together. This includes: anything from Contemporary Worship and Gospel to genres such as Reggae, Pop, Rap, Afrobeat to Indie / Folk / Acoustic. 4,400+ tracks have been processed to date from over 600 hundred new and established artists.

The third annual Step FWD Awards was recently televised on TBN. The winners are chosen via a public voting system running in tandem with a judging panel comprising over 150 top influencers and platforms in the UK Christian music industry.
