Overview
Paul Williams serves as the CEO of The Bible Society, bringing together a remarkable blend of prayerful leadership, academic insight and cultural engagement. Before joining Bible Society, Paul spent over a decade working in business in London and later as an academic theologian at Regent College, Vancouver, where he continues to hold a Research Professorship in Marketplace Theology and Leadership.
His unique background in economics, business, political philosophy and theology informs his approach to mission, equipping the Church to engage faithfully and intelligently with contemporary culture. Paul is the visionary creator of ReFrame, a video-based course designed to help believers connect the overarching story of Scripture to their everyday lives and work. His recent book, Exiles on Mission: How Christians Can Thrive in a Post-Christian World, explores how followers of Christ can live fruitfully and with purpose in modern society, offering practical tools for understanding culture through a missional lens.
Paul is married to Sarah, and they have two adult daughters. His work reflects a passion for seeing Christians live out their faith with integrity and hope in every sphere of life — echoing the truth that believers are called to be “in the world, but not of it” (John 17:14–18).
