Hannah Rich

Hannah Rich serves as Director of Christians on the Left and as a Senior Researcher at Theos Think Tank. Her career beautifully weaves together faith and politics – two subjects that, as she often notes, polite conversation tends to avoid. Yet through her work, she has made a vocation of bringing grace and wisdom into the public square.
Hannah holds an MSc with distinction in Inequalities and Social Science from the London School of Economics, and a first-class BA (Hons) in French and Spanish from Durham University. Before joining her current roles, she worked with a social innovation think tank, a learning disability charity, and served as a care worker, that have deepened her understanding of compassion, justice, and human dignity.
Her talk, “Grace in Conflict: Leading with Understanding in a Divided World,” explores how Christians can engage in difficult conversations with humility and courage, seeking reconciliation even amidst ideological divides. Reflecting the Apostle Paul’s encouragement to “let your speech always be gracious,” Hannah invites believers to model understanding and hope in public discourse.
