Living & Telling is an evangelism and discipleship course developed by Agapé UK to help Christians share their faith in Jesus naturally and confidently in everyday life. The course equips believers to integrate their faith into daily relationships, encouraging authentic conversations about God’s love and the Gospel. It is designed primarily for use within local churches and small groups, helping participants grow in confidence as witnesses for Christ.

The course was created by Paul Gibbs, a long-serving leader within Agapé UK who has been widely involved in evangelism training and ministry development. Drawing on decades of experience in mission and discipleship, Paul developed Living & Telling as a practical framework to help Christians communicate their faith relationally rather than through formulaic presentations.

Living & Telling focuses on six key sessions that explore themes such as living a life that reflects Christ, listening well, recognising opportunities for spiritual conversations and explaining the message of Jesus clearly. Participants are encouraged to pray, practice and support one another as they learn to share their faith with grace and authenticity.

The course has been used by churches and ministries across the United Kingdom and internationally. It reflects Agapé UK’s wider commitment to equipping believers to fulfil the Great Commission and to help people encounter the transforming love of Christ. As Scripture reminds us, believers are called to “always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have” (1 Peter 3:15). Living & Telling seeks to help Christians do exactly that with wisdom, humility and compassion.

Tim Moyler played a key role in shaping the modern Living & Telling course, adapting an earlier Agapé training resource and developing it alongside colleagues, including Dave Pegg. The programme began as a way to prepare Christian school leavers and university students to remain confident in their faith while engaging with wider culture. Over time it has grown into a widely used training resource for churches and small groups across the United Kingdom.
