Overview
Ruth Jackson is a Christian media practitioner who serves as a producer and youth specialist for Premier Christian Radio’s Unbelievable? radio programme and podcast. The programme is well known for bringing Christians and non-Christians together for thoughtful and respectful dialogue around faith, belief and contemporary issues, and Ruth plays a key role in supporting this work.
Previously, Ruth was editor of Premier Youth and Children’s Work magazine, where she contributed to resourcing and encouraging those involved in ministry with children and young people. Her professional background reflects a long-standing commitment to youth engagement, Christian communication and media production.
Ruth studied theology at Oxford University before beginning her career in broadcast media at the BBC, where she worked on the flagship children’s television programme Blue Peter. She later joined the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics, where she helped establish Reboot, a youth apologetics initiative designed to equip young people to think clearly and confidently about their faith.
Alongside her media work, Ruth has contributed to Hope Rising 365, a devotional book for young women.
Ruth is actively involved in church life as a volunteer youth worker, preacher and worship leader at her local church in Feltham, where she lives with her husband Will. Her work reflects a thoughtful integration of faith, media and youth engagement, aligning closely with the aims of the CBC UK Directory to support Christian communicators working across platforms.
